Frequently Asked Questions

What is Coaching?

Coaching is co-developed relationship where individuals and groups work to explore, gain insight, and take action toward goals.
I provide the space, reflection, support, and accountability needed to make forward progress toward changes individuals wish to make in their work and life.  These changes lead to skill development and personal and professional growth.

How is Coaching Structured?

Depending on the circumstances and the individuals’ goals, the timeframe, frequency, and length of coaching will vary.  Often, individuals find most benefit meeting weekly or bi-weekly for 45-minute sessions until the goal is achieved.  Many people participate in coaching more frequently in the early stages of the coaching relationship. Coaching may occur over a year to 6 months or even longer, but sessions may become more spaced and serve as check ins or opportunities to refine and grow.

What is Your Approach?

My coaching style focuses on individual's Personal Development and Behavior Change. I provide the space, reflection, support, and accountability needed to make forward progress toward changes individuals wish to make in their work and life.

What Are Your Fees?

The costs of coaching are similar to other professional services, and fees are charged hourly or as a part of a membership.  The costs are similar to that of a therapist, stylist, or masseur. Much like with those services, people see the investment of their time and money as an important investment in themselves.
I believe coaching should not just be reserved for Executives. Everyone can benefit from coaching!  To ensure cost is not a barrier, I work through various organizations to provide individual and group coaching opportunities at a discounted rate, and offer a limited number of pro bono sessions.
